I used this Hotel on Sunday, I needed a meeting room to interview someone, I chose it for its location near the M5, and availability for a Sunday, the staff who dealt with my booking met my needs very well, and my room was just what I needed, and at a good value price too. Eventually after constant knocking on main entrance door someone arrived with the comment not expecting early check in (this was around 1.00pm) on my own so locked door! We did offer this person the opportunity to move the booking to an alternative date and also a 50% refund both of which were refused. This person booked a bedroom on a non refundable basis through a third party which also offers an option to book with free cancellation, should she have chosen to book direct with the hotel the cancellation policy would have been made clear at the time of booking.
